I have loved the name [name_m]Jack[/name_m] since I was in my early teens. It’s such a strong masculine timeless name. I normally wouldn’t go for the popular name but loving the name so much outweighs the popularity factor. Now the problem is there is no name that can compare! I cannot for the life of me find a boy’s name I love nearly as much as [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. The closest thing I have found thus far is [name_m]Luke[/name_m] which I do like a lot but don’t love. (Also not sure about the matching -k endings.) I’m feeling discouraged at this point.

I think [name_m]Luke[/name_m] is a great choice for you. It has all the qualities you seem to like in a name–simple and timeless and familiar without being too buttoned up or formal. I actually know a [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_m]Luke[/name_m] sibset and I think it works beautifully. Maybe it will grow on you with time.
I really like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] for you, but other thoughts that occurred to are [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Joel (but that would repeat the “J”,[/name_m] [name_m]Mark[/name_m], Aaron, and [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. I also like the suggestion of [name_u]Seth[/name_u].
[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is timeless. I would go with something similarly classic: [name_m]Ben[/name_m], [name_u]Sam[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_u]Danny[/name_u], [name_m]Will[/name_m].
This is my favorite! [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is strong, masculine, and timeless (all the reasons you like [name_m]Jack[/name_m]!) Not overly popular, short and simple.
Personally [name_m]Henry[/name_m] always makes me think of the character in Time [name_u]Traveler[/name_u]'s Wife and I really loved him. He is most certainly strong masculine and “timeless”
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] is also very cute with [name_m]Jack[/name_m]!
