Cannot find our boys name! Help needed

We had our little boy 3 weeks ago and he is still nameless :frowning:

We tend to like more unusual names, our little girl is called [name_f]Bebe[/name_f] (pronounced BB) our list includes:

[name_u]Beau[/name_u] - This name was THE ONE especially as it goes so well with our daughters name until many people have pointed out it doesn’t go with our surname of [name_f]Viney[/name_f] (Bovine link)

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you see this as an issue? 3 separate people have mentioned the link and it really has made us worry.

Does anyone have a suggestion of a given name we could give him which could be [name_u]Beau[/name_u] for short?

[name_m]Fox[/name_m]
Ettiene
[name_m]Espen[/name_m]
[name_m]Art[/name_m] ([name_m]Artie[/name_m])
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]

We also like nature names and names that are short and fresh/unique.

Thanks
[name_f]Lynsey[/name_f]

I would strongly advise against [name_u]Beau[/name_u] with your last name. I like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] from your list. One of my suggestions to you is [name_u]Glenn[/name_u]. Short, nature themed, and goes well with [name_f]Viney[/name_f].

I really like [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Viney[/name_f] it has a great flow! [name_f]Bebe[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is an adorable combination

[name_m]Broderick[/name_m] / [name_m]Boden[/name_m]. / [name_m]Brogan[/name_m] / [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] / [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] / [name_m]Ben[/name_m] / [name_m]Brendan[/name_m] / [name_m]Brandt[/name_m] (any b name will work for the nickname beau)

[name_m]Bowen[/name_m], maybe? Still don’t think it works that well with your last name.

Apart from pp’s suggestions, I don’t have any other [name_u]Beau[/name_u] alternatives.

Out of your list, I think [name_m]Art[/name_m] [name_f]Viney[/name_f] is adorable (nn [name_m]Artie[/name_m]). [name_f]Bebe[/name_f] and [name_m]Art[/name_m] are so cute together, both have that uncommon (but not unusual), vintage, cool vibe to me.

Good luck!

I was going to suggest [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] nn [name_u]Bo[/name_u]/[name_u]Beau[/name_u], but I realize [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] [name_f]Viney[/name_f] sounds a bit rhymey. These might work to,
[name_u]Abbott[/name_u] ([name_u]Abbott[/name_u] [name_f]Viney[/name_f]? Maybe no better then just [name_u]Beau[/name_u])
[name_m]Boaz[/name_m]
[name_m]Bowman[/name_m]
[name_m]Booker[/name_m]?
[name_m]Boston[/name_m]
[name_m]Osborne[/name_m]/[name_m]Osbourne[/name_m]

[name_m]Bauer[/name_m] has all the right letters, just not in the right order. Maybe it could work?

I do love the rest of your list tho! There are so many amazing names on there. I adore [name_m]Fox[/name_m], Ettiene ([name_m]Etienne[/name_m]?), [name_m]Espen[/name_m], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u]!
All the best.

I like [name_m]Art[/name_m], [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m], and [name_u]Sage[/name_u].

Really liking the [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] suggestion!

Perhaps also consider [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_f]Lark[/name_f], Becks, or [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]

I would avoid [name_u]Beau[/name_u] (unfortunately as it is a lovely name.) [name_u]Wren[/name_u] strikes me as very feminine.

With [name_f]Bebe[/name_f], I really like [name_u]Blaze[/name_u], [name_m]Basil[/name_m], [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], and [name_m]Birch[/name_m].

[name_u]Beau[/name_u] makes me think of names like [name_m]Rhett[/name_m], [name_u]Cade[/name_u], [name_m]Ridge[/name_m], [name_m]Grant[/name_m], and [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].

I like the [name_m]Bowman[/name_m] suggestion. As soon as I read it, j just thought it sounded so cool! [name_m]Bowman[/name_m] [name_f]Viney[/name_f]. And [name_m]Bowman[/name_m] and [name_f]Bebe[/name_f] sound cool together too.

I want to suggest [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] too! It’s one of my favorite names.

What about [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]?

You can’t call him [name_u]Beau[/name_u] [name_f]Viney[/name_f]! Sorry to be blunt, I do like [name_u]Beau[/name_u], but your surname is a deal-breaker for me I’m afraid.

I think [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_m]Espen[/name_m] and [name_m]Art[/name_m] from your list are especially great, [name_m]Art[/name_m] being my favourite. [name_m]How[/name_m] cool does [name_m]Art[/name_m] [name_f]Viney[/name_f] sound?! [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] is a great suggestion too.

[name_m]Otto[/name_m]
[name_m]Otis[/name_m]
[name_m]Oz[/name_m]/[name_m]Ozzy[/name_m]
[name_m]Ziggy[/name_m]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u]
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]
[name_m]Bear[/name_m]
[name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_u]Loki[/name_u]
[name_m]Eero[/name_m]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]
[name_m]Zeb[/name_m]/[name_m]Zev[/name_m]
[name_m]Dax[/name_m]
[name_m]Shep[/name_m]
[name_m]Kip[/name_m]
[name_m]Gus[/name_m]
[name_m]Zeke[/name_m]

ETA: many congratulations on his safe arrival!

GREAT suggestion here! Also [name_m]Basil[/name_m]. [name_m]Art[/name_m] & [name_f]Bebe[/name_f] is a cute sibset.

If you like more uncommon names, what about

Bramble (though Bramble [name_f]Viney[/name_f] might be too vines-and-brambles!)
[name_m]Viggo[/name_m]
[name_m]Peder[/name_m]
[name_m]Ace[/name_m] (not sure about popularity)
[name_m]Dom[/name_m]
[name_u]Lex[/name_u]
[name_u]Avi[/name_u]
[name_m]Quill[/name_m]
[name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m]
[name_u]Bay[/name_u]
[name_m]Breccan[/name_m]
[name_m]Barney[/name_m] / [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]
[name_m]Jim[/name_m]
[name_m]Bob[/name_m]

EDIT: Arthur “Art” & Bebe is perfection!!

I love [name_u]Beau[/name_u], but I agree that it doesn’t work with your last name. From your list, I like [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and [name_m]Espen[/name_m].

What about [name_m]Beauregard[/name_m]?

Alder
[name_m]Rem[/name_m]
[name_m]Koa[/name_m]
[name_m]Dex[/name_m]
[name_m]Heron[/name_m]
[name_m]Seb[/name_m]

I’m going to second these suggestions, if you want another B name:

[name_m]Bauer[/name_m]
[name_u]Beck[/name_u] or [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Brooks[/name_m]
[name_m]Basil[/name_m] (in the US: bay-zl; in the U.K.: ba-zl like the “a” in bat; in [name_f]France[/name_f]: bah-zeel, accent on the 2nd syllable)

I’ll add [name_m]Brigham[/name_m] to the B list.

If you don’t necessarily want another B name, how about:

[name_m]Anton[/name_m] or Anthon
[name_m]Clive[/name_m]
[name_m]Hayes[/name_m]
Rigdon
Gresham
