My main character is having her second baby. It’s a girl, and I have narrowed down the list to just two names, but I still can’t decide! (Her big sister’s name is [name_f]Fern[/name_f].)
The two names are: [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] and [name_f]September[/name_f].
Please help!
Personally, I like the combination of [name_f]Fern[/name_f] & [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]. Is the main character’s name relevant to the choices? If so, that might be helpful.
The main character’s name is [name_u]Aydin[/name_u], but this isn’t relevant as it may change in the future. For some extra criteria, I am planning for her second daughter to be very hipster-y, with pastel pink hair, very stylish, vegan, wears a lot of hats…: )
[name_f]September[/name_f] matches the description given, maybe with the nickname [name_u]Ember[/name_u] or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]? [name_f]September[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] or [name_u]Ember[/name_u] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] sound more like sisters than [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f].
I’d definitely say [name_f]September[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Fern[/name_f]. Since you said she’s going to be a hipster I like the idea of her having a short nickname, and maybe something unrelated to her birth name.

[name_f]September[/name_f] sounds more like a sister to [name_f]Fern[/name_f] than [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] does.
