I like vintage/classic, but I also like names that have an unusual nature feel.

Though I’m all for unusual names, no offense, I’m not a big fan of some of yours that you’ve picked. But I do love and adore all of your vintage names!
I personally [name]LOVE[/name] a mix of 2 and 3, unusual but grand/classical names!! Whether it be a name that encompasses both, or a grand classical, like [name]Constantine[/name], with a middle like [name]Fable[/name]!
It’s between vintage and grand & classical for me. I think my taste really bridges between these two categories. I think I’m somewhat guilty of tending to favor the vintage for male and grand/classical for females. Not intentionally, but I have noticed that. I ended up voting for grand/classical, but I’m not very positive in my response. I’m not very fond of overly literal names or those with very little historical presence, so your ‘unusal’ category doesn’t really do much for me.
I like a mixture of your first and third categories. I think a classic/vintage first name paired with a more uncommon and grandiose middle name is pretty much perfect. [name]Violet[/name] [name]Ophelia[/name], [name]Alice[/name] [name]Persephone[/name], [name]Henry[/name] [name]Amadeus[/name], etc. The first names are lovely, rich with history, and easy to wear. The middle names are equally beautiful, meaningful, and, while a little over the top for a first name, have just right amount of eccentricity for the middle spot.
I don’t like the unusual names, but I adore vintage! [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Alice[/name], [name]Matilda[/name], and [name]Sebastian[/name] are my favorite names from your vintage list. Grand/classical names are cool—I especially like [name]Rosamund[/name]—but some of them are just too over-the-top or too associated with big historical/literal/mythical figures, such as [name]Amadeus[/name] or [name]Persephone[/name]. I do, however, like [name]Ophelia[/name]. And have you ever considered [name]Amadea[/name]? I really like that name for a girl, maybe with the nickname [name]Maddie[/name]. Grand/classical is really nice—but vintage will ALWAYS be my fave!
Thank you! I like this idea, too! It removes the popularity issue but still I get to use the unusual names that may be too much for a first name.
I also love nature names!
I do like this idea, although I’m still not sure about the popularity of the first names…
I used to have [name]Amadea[/name] on my list, but with the nickname [name]May[/name]! I think it was [name]Amadea[/name] [name]Carmen[/name].
