[name]Hi[/name] all. I’ve been lurking here for a few weeks searching for names and just now decided to actually break down & create an account to ask for some help, so here goes!
I’m due in early [name]June[/name] and DH and I are waiting to find out the sex (I just posted this in the boys section also, so I’m sorry if you’re reading it twice!). This bean will be our fourth; We already have [name]Charles[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] III (goes by [name]Jasper[/name]- DH is [name]Charlie[/name] & granddaddy is CJ), [name]Francis[/name] [name]Eli[/name] (goes by [name]Frankie[/name]) & [name]Annabeth[/name] [name]Clare[/name]. All have at least one family name/honor a family member in some way, so we are considering continuing that with this one but I’m not totally sure I want to keep it up. [name]Do[/name] you all think it would be weird to not use any family names after using ones in all the other names?
Here’s our short list, I’d love any other suggestions you think would fit in with our style & with [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Frankie[/name] & [name]Annabeth[/name]. We’re being pretty loose about names this time and are trying to be very open to any suggestions.

[name]Elise[/name]/[name]Elisa[/name]
[name]Meredith[/name] (I’m really conflicted about this one. I’d always HATED it, especially on a girl, but in the past few months I’ve warmed up to it so much I would consider actually using it. DH loves it too, but I’m thinking maybe just as a middle name?)

[name]Ruby[/name] (probably only middle name)
[name]Georgia[/name] definitely! I have a cousin named [name]Georgia[/name] and it works adorably on a little girl. It’s such an underused and sweet classic. It goes really well with your other names too. I don’t think it would be weird not to use a family name since no one really knows about middle names, but I’d try to at least use a middle name with a special meaning as opposed to one you just think is pretty. the same thing has been happening to me with [name]Meredith[/name]! i wouldnt use it as a first name though since you have an [name]Annabeth[/name]… too matchy. [name]Nora[/name] [name]Meredith[/name] could be cute. but i’d be too worried i’d end up disliking it again down the road!
[name]Nora[/name] also made me think of [name]Cora[/name] which made me think of [name]Coralie[/name], [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Coraline[/name], and [name]Emmeline[/name]–if you like any of them.
I didn’t even realize the similarities between [name]Annabeth[/name] and [name]Meredith[/name], thanks! Now that’s definitely being moved to the middle name list. But I’m too worried I’ll change my mind about it in the future, like you said, so I doubt we’ll end up using it. I love [name]Emmeline[/name] and suggested it when we were choosing [name]Annabeth[/name]'s name, but DH nixed it right away. Thanks for the response & help
I know a sweet little [name]Meredith[/name] who goes by [name]Edie[/name]. I think [name]Georgia[/name] also goes really well with your other children.
