My husband and I have been going back and forth on girl’s names! We have a two year old son named [name_m]Leeland[/name_m], he’s a red headed, green eyed cutie! I have a feeling our girl will have similar features. Our top 4 girl names are
My favorites are [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and [name_f]Marlo[/name_f], I think [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] would fit better to your description but that’s just my personal opinion, for me [name_u]Drew[/name_u] sounds too much like a boys name and [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] reminds me of [name_f]Pacey[/name_f] from Dawsons Creek
The only one I like on your list is [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] although I do prefer the [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] spelling. [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] sounds like a spunky red-haired child.
I didn’t choose [name_u]Drew[/name_u] because your daughter would have a more masculine sounding name that your son.
I didn’t choose [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] because it’s a trendy place name. Also it reminds me of the asp snake.
I didn’t choose [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] because it’s a fabrice pattern and it would be like calling a child “Plaid” or “Mohair” or “Chintz”. It also sounds overly cutesy for a grown woman and we do spend most of our lives as adults.
I think [name_f]Marlo[/name_f] fits your description best, but I love [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] and [name_m]Leeland[/name_m] together. They have a lovely nature-y but modern feel.
[name_u]Drew[/name_u] and [name_u]Paisley[/name_u] don’t sound great with their older brother’s name, I don’t think. There’s just something a little bit off that I can’t quite place.
