Help? I have a 2nd cousin names [name_u]Rylee[/name_u], and although I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Riley[/name_u] for a girl… He’s a boy, and I see him often… As much as I wish I could do it, I know Id get scolded! Haha and I dislike [name_u]Kiley[/name_u].

What about if you chose a different name and used [name_f]Miley[/name_f] as a nickname. Like [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] off of your list but he can choose to call her [name_f]Miley[/name_f] if he wants? I much prefer longer names like [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I just feel like [name_f]Miley[/name_f] isn’t a full name! Also, the popularity of [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is too much for me.

I love [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f], and like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] a lot from your agreeable list. [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is OK, but I like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] better. I think it’s good you’re having a hard time getting over the [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] association as many people will immediately think you named your child after her.
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Miley[/name_f] but I completely love [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] in the middle spot, especially considering your connection to it. Looking at your compromise list, [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] would be amazing, imo.
Edit to add: Just a little side note about Miley, there’s an Elvis movie called Blue Hawaii in which the love interest is called Maile, prn Miley. Its a pretty spelling I think, although I know nothing about its origins.
What about [name_f]Mylee[/name_f] or [name_f]Mylie[/name_f]? Maybe a different spelling will help you associate the name with something other than [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m].

I feel like [name_f]Miley[/name_f] is so unattractive, trendy and forgettable. Plus, it really does only bring images of [name_f]Miley[/name_f] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] and no one wants to have those images in their head!

I wouldn’t go with [name_f]Miley[/name_f], especially now when she’s so popular. I wouldn’t want anyone to think I named my baby after her. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] (too old-lady), but I like [name_f]Alana[/name_f], though I’d make it [name_f]Elana[/name_f] or [name_f]Elena[/name_f] to get away from the Toddlers and Tiaras reference. I’m also intrigued by Megaera.
