[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! My name is [name_f]AnnMarie[/name_f]. I am 28 years old and my husband [name_m]Justin[/name_m] and I are having our first baby girl! [name_m]Justin[/name_m] and I have one son who is 2 years old and his name is [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m] and we get compliments on his name all the time. And now we are having a baby girl, and we wanted a pretty yet unique name for our girl. We have settled on [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as the middle name since it’s both of our mother’s middle names. What we are having trouble on is deciding on her first name. We both like [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] but we can’t decide on one. Could you please help us?
I would say [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], beacause first of all I just adore [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] is pretty but I would be concerned about spelling and pronunciation issues.
[name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flows better [name_f]IMO[/name_f] but due to possible pronunciation problems and spelling difficulties I’d go with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] which also goes really well with [name_m]Declan[/name_m] [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
As someone with a name that is often difficult for others to pronounce (both first and surname)…it is not a big deal. (Because I love the meaning of my first name) Definitely worth it. And it can be a fun conversation starter.
[name_m]How[/name_m] is [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] pronounced??? Kweeva? That sounds very gross…[name_u]Keeva[/name_u]…not bad. I def prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] though!
I think we have settled on [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_m]Crawford[/name_m]!
Thank you all so much for helping my husband and I decide!
