Caoson

[name]Hi[/name],
I am considering Caoson as a first name or middle name for my first son. I want a name starting by c. Caoson sounds good in vietnamese, chinese and french. I am chinese, my husband is vietnamese and we live in a french province, but de speak english too. My concern is that Caoson sounds like cow son in english. What do you think? [name]Do[/name] you think my son would get teased by english speaking kids if Caoson is his first name?

Hm. I like the look of it, I like the feel of it, but I do ultimately hear “cow son.” I’m on the fence with this one! There will probably be some teasing, but as it is often pointed out kids will tease no matter what.

I’ve become somewhat of an involuntary expect on C- boy names since we’ve been searching for one for ages, so just in case you are open to suggestions here are some others for your consideration!:

When I first saw the thread, I thought it was [name]Carson[/name] with a typo.

I can see the appeal in this name, but kids pick up on things like “cow son” pretty quickly, so I would avoid anything with such a glaring prospect for future teasing.

I can certainly see why this name appeals to you, but as soon as I saw it I did think “cow son,” sorry.
