I met a little boy named [name]Capone[/name] they were calling him Pone or Pony as a nickname. He also has a twin brother named [name]Austin[/name] a younger brother named [name]Rydier[/name] and an older brother named [name]Brandon[/name].
As in [name]Al[/name] Capone? Not the best namesake… Their parents’ taste is kind of inconsistent. You have [name]Brandon[/name] and [name]Austin[/name] which are top of the line 90’s names and then you have Capone which is… scary and Rydier, which I’m having some trouble figuring out… Is it pronounced like [name]Ryder[/name] or is it “[name]RY[/name]-dee-er”?
Also, I’m going to throw this out there… Pony is not a good nickname for anyone, much less a boy. Unless you’re Ponyboy [name]Curtis[/name], in which case, stay gold!
Ha! I had thought of Ponyboy too! As for [name]Rydier[/name] it’s pronounced like [name]Ryder[/name].
Well I have wondered when the surname trend would get less Anglo but that is an interesting choice!
Capone with the nickname Pony is just… wrong. Is he a horse?
[name]Austin[/name] and [name]Brandon[/name] aren’t terrible but Rydier looks weird.
This is exactly the kind of wannabe-badass boys name that I absolutely can’t stand. Especially given the rash of violence in this country, it seems like the worst kind of bad taste to name your poor kid after a murderer. There is nothing glamorous or edgy about it.
I am not a fan. The name doesn’t sound bad; I just refuse to name my child after a cigar!!! Forget it!!!
Horrible. [name]Al[/name] Capone?
Terrible nickname Pony too.
