I know the associations: capri pants, [name]Capri[/name] [name]Sun[/name], but I love the place name part of it… maybe better as a MN… but I [name]LOVE[/name] it for a FN, just not sure I would really use it.

I really like it!. [name]Capri[/name] is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to. If you’re worried about the pants and drink association, maybe [name]Caprice[/name] would be a good alternative.

Oh please, not [name]Caprice[/name]! I don’t really believe in name-fate, but I know of a [name]Caprice[/name] who is extremely capricious and drives everyone crazy for being inconsistent, flighty, and selfish, everything her name implies. I just can’t help thinking what she would be like if she had a different name.
I say stick with [name]Capri[/name] as a place name in the first or middle spot.
It’s cute but I’d read up on the history of the island of [name]Capri[/name] before you make your choice. With [name]Caprice[/name], ask yourself if that’s something you want your daughter to value.

Most definitely not as a first. I’d always think “[name]Capri[/name] pants, [name]Capri[/name] sun…her parents must be heavy consumers.” It doesn’t even sound like a complete name to me.
I know a little [name]Capri[/name] - she is a real sweet kiddo. It’s actually her middle name and she has always gone by it. I like it, but probably bc I know such a cute one!

Personally I think it shines as a middle name (has the same rhythm as [name]Marie[/name], making it very compatible) but I think it could work for a first name. [name]Capri[/name] [name]Sun[/name] isn’t necessarily a bad thing to be associated with, and the pants length is not very relevant in my opinion. I think it’s works!
