What kind of person do you imagine with either name? [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to use photos, songs, scents, etc. in your response. Ultimately, please let me know which one you prefer.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - someone confident, creative and intelligent
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] -someone elegant, sophisticated and kind
This probably wouldn’t be considered as much of an aesthetic-based answer but more of a character study if that’s OK.
I prefer [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. It feels vaster and more versatile than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] to me. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] feels more inward-looking and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] feels like she could be more of an adventurer. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is a little black dress name and could fit a wide variety of people; [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] feels more prim, proper, and cautious.
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is one of my favourites and we considered it for our little guy!
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is soft-spoken and a little shy; [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is bright and a strong leader.
I think both are pretty and feminine, but in different ways:
@elanorelle Ooh, I love your descriptions! I always think of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] in wellies on a farm for some reason? Maybe because of Charlotte’s [name_m]Web[/name_m]?
I also think of [name_f]Debbie[/name_f] Reynold’s character in Two Weeks with [name_u]Love[/name_u]:
For [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], I also picture someone confident and elegant like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m]:
Also, the song “Sweet Caroline” comes to mind! Which is just too darling
