[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name] is sweet! It’s a bit “L” heavy, with the two "L"s so close together, but [name]Laura[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] obviously doesn’t work, and I like the general impression of [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name]. It’s very sweet. I have to say, I’d miss [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Theresa[/name], but [name]Caroline[/name] is very sweet, too. [name]Caroline[/name] Tys0n is a bit “eye” heavy and a bit rhymey with the “N” endings, but nothing that’s not usable, imo.
And I (begrudgingly!) admit [name]Caroline[/name] sounds better with your surname than [name]Theresa[/name] did.
Congrats, btw!
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name] is beautiful.
I think [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name] works!
Congratulations on anther blessing!! I think it’s very sweet! [name]Caroline[/name] would give all the girls the Cuh sound in their names which could be a sweet connection. I have to admit that I too miss seeing [name]Grace[/name] on your list but [name]Caroline[/name] is very lovely!
It works but it’s suboptimal. What about [name]Daphne[/name] instead? You retain the laurel connection but I think [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Daphne[/name] Tys0n flows much more smoothly.
I love [name]Caroline[/name], it’s cute and fresh. I think it’s a matter of balance and here’s what I mean. [name]Caroline[/name] is what I’d consider somewhat common and classic, love it. [name]Laura[/name] is uber common and a nice name as well. Also the fact that your last name is pretty well known as last names go, doesn’t help the “common” vibe. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with common, I love some really common names, it’s just that I feel a balance between common and not-as-common is the best way to make a beautiful and more interesting name, imho. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from using these names per se, but the combination of the two, for me, is a bit bland and not too striking since they are both common and popular. That being said I think it needs a spicier name in the middle for some balance. Since it seems requisite that the name you choose have a connection to [name]Laura[/name]/[name]Lawrence[/name], I would also suggest [name]Laurel[/name], as a pp did. I love the floral image and it would be fitting tribute. Or how about [name]Laraine[/name], [name]Larissa[/name], [name]Laretta[/name], [name]Larina[/name], [name]Lorraine[/name], [name]Laurelle[/name]/[name]Laurella[/name],Lauralie, [name]Lorelai[/name]. Good [name]Luck[/name]!
Thanks for the congrats! All the “s” sounds of my favorite names with Tys0n were getting to me!
I never suggested [name]Caroline[/name] to my dh because I didn’t think we’d want to go the all C/K route and I didn’t think he’d like it. But he did and we’re both really loving it. If we have a 4th girl we might be up a creek, but we’ll cross that bridge if we come to it.
Thanks! I have such a hard time fairly judging combos with my name because I’m biased! But I’ve always really liked my name and would love to pass it on.
Common names don’t bother me one bit. My other daughters’ middles are pretty standard fare though they all have personal meaning to us. If we don’t use [name]Laura[/name] will use [name]Grace[/name] for Our Lady of [name]Grace[/name].
As a [name]Caroline[/name] myself, i’m not exactly neutral, but I have to say I love it! I like the flow of it, and how both are classic and well-rooted names. Plus, [name]Caroline[/name] L. Tys0n just sounds amazing. It sounds very upper-crust to me, and just the type of name we are delightful to see here in the UK. =)
Congrats!
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name] is just beautiful!
I think I prefer [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laurel[/name], but [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Laura[/name] does work. I’ve known an [name]Amy[/name] and a [name]Sylvie[/name] who had [name]Laura[/name] as a middle name.
