With only five weeks to go, I really want to find a name (soon) that we love for our third daughter. We were going to use the name [name]Anna[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], which I think is a great name…I’m just not loving it for us. ([name]Anna[/name] is really popular where we live.) So, what about [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Louise[/name]? [name]Louise[/name] is a family name. My other daughters are [name]Eva[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Corinne[/name]. Naming a third girl is hard!
Your daughter’s names are just beautiful and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your options here.
I just wanted to suggest [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].
I think [name]Louisa[/name] makes a wonderful first name, honors your relative, and is not at all popular. Also I think it better matches your other daughter’s names in its softness and flow. ([name]Caroline[/name] is a beautiful name but it’s a bit harsher in sound and a bit more buttoned-up in feel than [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name], while [name]Louisa[/name] fits in beautifully - [name]Louisa[/name] also really highlights the vintage charm of the whole set, though it might be more vintage than you’re going for since [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Tessa[/name] definitely have a more modern edge).
One other thing: [name]Caroline[/name] is VERY close in sound to both [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Corrine[/name]. If you use it as a middle, then the girls names will all have this subtle connection, but in first place it sort of feels both unbalanced against the other names and also as if you’ve just cut too close to the others’ middles.
I like [name]Louisa[/name]…I guess I just don’t care for it as much in the first name spot. Hmmm…I need to think about that one. [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] does flow well together.
I love [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Louise[/name], but I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]! The only problem might be that [name]Tessa[/name] and [name]Louisa[/name] both end in S.
[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Louisa[/name] would be gorgeous too!
