Caroline or Charlotte or Anna

[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] - lyrical, not top 10, classic, but “old lady?”
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - full, literary, classic, but “harlot” and slightly pretentious?
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - faintly Eastern European, non-controversial, classic, somewhat nasally and boring

I do love [name_f]Anna[/name_f] I think it would go really well with a [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], my boy name :star2:

Anna by far

I love both the elegant and literary [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and the underused [name_f]Anna[/name_f]!

I think they’re all great choices! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] because of my associations.

Lol well where I am from we all say it the other way :joy: “[name_u]Anne[/name_u]-uh” runs altogether

I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] almost equally. But right now [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]’s coming out on top

Caroline - reminds me of the OutKast song…every [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] I’ve ever known has had this sung at them. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t consider it old lady-ish but it has a slightly middle age vibe to it - 4/10

Charlotte - beautiful, traditional and sophisticated but still has a moderness to it. [name_m]Can[/name_m] tomboy/modernise it with [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] as a nickname or make it vintage chic with [name_f]Lottie[/name_f]. The ‘harlot’ thing didn’t even cross my mind - 7

Anna - it’s very meh, nothing wrong with it but it’s just a bit plain. Also, makes me think of the Disney princess although that’s not necessarily a bad thing :slightly_smiling_face: - 6

My favorite is probably [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], but I love the sound of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] as well.

Caroline! I think she has the most mellifluous sound of the three, and I think she’s an underused classic (but maybe that’s just in my area?). I like her best in full, but [name_u]Caro[/name_u] and [name_f]Carly[/name_f] are also cute.

Charlotte is so overused and I’ve never found the sound appealing. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is fine but I do think it’s plain. I’ve actually known quite a few Annas.

Charlotte is my favourite. It’s timeless. It doesn’t feel at all pretentious to me.

My favorite is [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! It is so beautiful and I love the nicknames [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] which make it less formal.

Charlotte and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] kind of tie for me.

Charlotte - I don’t believe in names being pretentious, especially ones as widely used as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] - I agree it’s a little boring and I also find it a bit dated.

Both names are great! Not personally a [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] fan.

I adore [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]! Not overused like [name_f]Anna[/name_f], and not as currently popular as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is beautiful and timeless.

I prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I don’t think it boring at all. It’s so delicate and elegant sounding. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is beautiful but very popular where as [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is quite underused in comparison. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] doesn’t sparkle as much for me as the other two.

All of them are beautiful, but I would choose [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] in a heartbeat.

Anna! I love it and it’s not boring at all! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is nice but less lovely to me. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is just rather bland in my eyes.
