In my opinion, they are too similar.

I think they are way too similar for sibling names.

Apparently two different names entirely going by origin, however unfortunately too similar for my taste.

Really paints you into a corner if you go on to having other kids. I know you like the ‘Car’ sound but maybe you ought to steer clear of it. Here’s a little list I threw together to try to help:
[name_u]Parker[/name_u], because it sounds like [name_u]Carter[/name_u]. [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_u]Spencer[/name_u], too, for the same reason.
[name_m]Casper[/name_m], because it sounds like both [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m] but is dissimilar enough to work as a sibling to [name_u]Carson[/name_u].
[name_m]Pierce[/name_m], because I know a [name_u]Carson[/name_u] with a brother named [name_m]Pierce[/name_m] and I felt it worked well.

I take [name_u]Parker[/name_u] back. It would sound completely ridiculous with [name_u]Carson[/name_u]. I was not thinking. Geez, why didnt I suggest [name_m]Vance[/name_m] while I was at it? Or Trucko

Too similar.

I know brothers with these names… nobody ever remembers which is which.

They’re too similar for me too, sorry, though I know siblings with names that similar. What about [name_u]Porter[/name_u] instead? Or [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_u]Dexter[/name_u], [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]?

They seem way too similar, sorry :frowning:

Much too close.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Carson[/name_u]… and a boy’s name that isn’t a surname such as [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Liam[/name_m].
