What are your thoughts on [name_m]Caruso[/name_m] with the nickname of [name_u]Cruz[/name_u]? Or possibly [name_m]Crew[/name_m] or [name_m]Crewe[/name_m] (although [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] is my favourite)?
I like it because it’s a literary name ([name_m]Robinson[/name_m] [name_m]Caruso[/name_m]) but the nickname [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] seems unpretentious. Although, I have seen [name_m]Caruso[/name_m] mocked elsewhere on Nameberry so I was just curious as to opinions.
I guess no one has any opinions on [name_m]Caruso[/name_m]! 
I think [name_m]Caruso[/name_m] is just ok. If I am not mistaken, the literary reference is the name ‘[name_m]Crusoe[/name_m]’, while [name_m]Caruso[/name_m] is close, it isn’t exactly the same and people in general may not make the connection. I actually really like [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] just by itself, or [name_m]Crusoe[/name_m], but I’m sort of indifferent about [name_m]Caruso[/name_m].

Like the pp said, the novel is [name_m]Robinson[/name_m] [name_m]Crusoe[/name_m]. either way, I really like [name_m]Caruso[/name_m] as a name, and [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] is really handsome If you want the literary reference though I’d suggest using [name_m]Crusoe[/name_m] nn [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] instead, otherwise the connection is lost. either choice is great imo
