Casimere?

[name_m]Just[/name_m] started watching a new tv show about ballet dancers and one of the actresses is named Casimere [name_f]Jolette[/name_f].

I think it sounds beautiful, quirky and vintage. What are your thoughts?

I like it! I think it’d get mistaken for [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f] quite a bit, but the sound is very pretty (I’d probably just spell it Cassimere to avoid this anyway)

I do think it’s a bit too cashmere. It’s the only thing I can think of. Maybe [name_f]Corisande[/name_f], [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] or [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]?

I immediately see cashmere, but I like the sounds. Casimira trips me up less. Definitely prefer similar names like [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] etc as @tallemaja mentioned. Cressida?

Prefer [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f] to avoid mixups. :slight_smile:

Casimere is elegant and distinct!!

Ok I totally didn’t see [name_f]Cashmere[/name_f] and now I can’t not hear it :see_no_evil::joy:
