Casper/Caspar Cooper...

I love the name [name]Casper[/name]/[name]Caspar[/name] for a boy but with the surname [name]Cooper[/name] is it too samey? Which spelling would be best? I’ve also listed below my 3 favourite girls and boy names - which are your favourites, second and least favourites?

Girls:
[name]India[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (nn [name]Indie[/name])
[name]Willow[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name]*
[name]Pearl[/name] [name]Juno[/name]*

Boys:
[name]Noah[/name] [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] [name]Casper[/name]/ar
[name]Casper[/name]/ar [name]Leo[/name]*

[name]Casper[/name] is a gorgeous name. But I think [name]Casper[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] sounds a bit up and down - just the way that it sounds when you say it out-loud [name]CAS[/name]-per COO-per.

Somebody I know named her daughter [name]Lilly[/name] surname [name]Willis[/name] and I thought the same about that - you just hear the rhyme [name]Lilly[/name]-[name]Willy[/name]… and if she was my daughter I’d be afraid of the bullying.

Girls:

[name]India[/name] - [name]Indie[/name] - lovely! [name]Unique[/name] and I picture somebody really creative :).

Of your boy choices I think [name]Leo[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] or [name]Noah[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] would sound the best. [name]Both[/name] lovely names.

I love [name]Casper[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] and it’s not too samey. It’s OK.

I love the name [name]Casper[/name], but [name]Casper[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] sounds cartoony to me, sorry. From your girls list I love [name]Pearl[/name] [name]Juno[/name].

Sorry, I love [name]Caspar[/name] and I love alliterations, but [name]Casper[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] has too many “r” sounds at the end for me. Of your list, I love [name]Willow[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name] (although I prefer the [name]Isabel[/name] spelling). I really like the nickname [name]Indie[/name], but I prefer [name]Indiana[/name] to [name]India[/name] as the full name. I also love [name]Indigo[/name], but I don’t think I’d ever be able to use it in real life! For the boys, I like [name]Noah[/name] [name]Jude[/name], and I love [name]Leo[/name], but again, putting [name]Casper[/name]/ar [name]Cooper[/name] together, even with [name]Caspar[/name] in the middle, it just sounds off. I like the previous suggestion of [name]Leo[/name] [name]Jude[/name].

I’d say that’s a no-go. Much too rhyme-y. Luckily, you have an awesome surname and many other names will go with it fine, although you will occasionally run into the -er ending names that just won’t work (I have an -er surname that has the same issue!). [name]Carter[/name], [name]Cooper[/name], [name]Fielder[/name], etc just sound repetitive!

I [name]LOVE[/name] all the rest of your favorites! I also really like [name]Casper[/name]. I have even put a lot of thought into using [name]Kaspar[/name] as it is a name in my geneology.

I have a young cousin named [name]Casper[/name] and I love it on him! I think it’s a wonderful name, however I do think it’s a little sing-songy with your last name. I think [name]Noah[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] sounds quite nice together, though.

I absolutely adore your girl names! Especially [name]Pearl[/name] [name]Juno[/name] and [name]India[/name] [name]Rose[/name], and I love the nickname [name]Indie[/name] ([name]One[/name] of my top names is [name]Indigo[/name] nn [name]Indie[/name]). I think [name]Willow[/name] [name]Isabell[/name] is quite lovely too, but I am smitten with the other two. I think no matter which you choose your baby will have a wonderful name.

Sorry but I think it sounds like a cartoon characters name. I think [name]Noah[/name] [name]Jude[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] is still a bit cartoonish but not as bad.
I love [name]Willow[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name], and I think it goes fine with [name]Cooper[/name]
