Caspia, Breta, Leander, Andora - WDYT?

Caspia
Breta
[name]Leander[/name]
[name]Andora[/name]

Most of the names I really like are very traditional. Though I have a few stranger ones ([name]Livy[/name], [name]Echo[/name], [name]Lark[/name]).

I was reading some mythology inspired names today and came across these.
I like them a lot! I surprised by how much I like them.

Are they too crazy? What’s your reaction?

[name]LOVE[/name] Caspia, love [name]Andora[/name], love [name]Leander[/name]…but not sure about Breta

I read a book not long ago with a character named [name]Brita[/name] (which of course made me think of [name]Brita[/name] water filters, but still) I thought it was a very pretty yet strong name. When I saw Breta it made me think of that. I’m not sure about it either, but I do like it.

I think Caspia is my favorite of the bunch as well.

[name]Andora[/name] made me think of Endora from Bewitched, but a little more modern and usable.

I like Caspia for a girl and [name]Leander[/name] for a boy

Ooh, Caspia is wonderful!

I can’t get on board [name]Caspar[/name] for the ghostbstories, but Caspia I think is great.

Caspia is my favorite! It’s beautiful! I love how it’s a flower name, but not in an obvious way. I can see a quiet girl going by the full Caspia, while a more outgoing tomboy going by the nickname Casper. I might have to steal this one for the guilty pleasure list  The other ones are alright, but not my style. I love [name]Echo[/name] as a guilty pleasure, and [name]Lark[/name] is adorable! I think [name]Lark[/name] isn’t crazy at all; I could see any little girl pulling it off easily. [name]Echo[/name], I think is also usable, but I can only imagine a soft, sweet, feminine girl with the name. [name]Livy[/name] is a little too nicknamey for me, but it’s cute for a little girl!

It’s funny how pp are getting a connection to [name]Casper[/name], but I was thinking feminine version of [name]Caspian[/name]…? also [name]Pia[/name] would make a really cute nn

None of them sound crazy to me. I think they’re all great. I love [name]Leander[/name], Caspia and [name]Lark[/name] the best. I like Breta a lot as well, but it reminds me of the character [name]Britta[/name] from the TV show Community. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s a name that may gain popularity. [name]Livy[/name] is pretty but it doesn’t feel like a complete name. [name]Echo[/name] and [name]Andora[/name] are the only ones that feel like they may be too out there. Still awesome names, but they’d have to have big personalities to fill those names!

Caspia is starting to really grown on me. I may have to ask my dearest darling if we can add it to our maybe baby names.

I love them! Caspia is pretty and reminds me of one of my favorites – [name]Cassia[/name]. [name]Leander[/name] would be cute for a little boy and I do enjoy [name]Lark[/name] as well.

I will always associate [name]Echo[/name] as a boy name because of the TV show Lost; there was a man named Mr. [name]Echo[/name] on the show.

Caspia – I like the sound of it, but to me it looks like a typo and is supposed to be [name]Caspian[/name] for a boy.

Breta – Cute, but if it’s pronounced [name]BREE[/name]-ta, I would personally spell it [name]Brita[/name], despite the water filters. Breta may get called Bretta, which is equally pretty but it may irritate you if it’s mispronounced often. Regardless, I do like Breta, [name]Brita[/name], [name]Britta[/name], Bretta, etc.

[name]Leander[/name] – For a girl? Hm…what do you think of [name]Leandra[/name]? I knew someone by that name and loved it.

[name]Andora[/name] – Exotic and fun!

Caspia is really pretty.
