Really loving [name]Caspian[/name] if this baby turns out to be a boy. [name]Do[/name] you think the nickname [name]Pip[/name] is too much of a stretch?
I thought about [name]Casper[/name] as a nickname but I think perhaps it’s a bit weird having an entirely different legitimate name as a nickname.
Can you think of any other nicknames that could work for a little Caspian?

I don’t think [name]Pip[/name] is too much of a stretch. You could give him a nickname that’s not even related to his name, for example my little cousin [name]Alexander[/name] is called [name]Pippy[/name]/[name]Pip[/name] or [name]Maddy[/name]/Mad for short. I know they are a little girly but he can pull them both off.

I think it’s adorable. The nickname doesn’t have to be related to the given name.
It seems a little contrived, honestly. Nicknames usually arise organically and are hard to anticipate prenatally, [name]IMO[/name]. Though I do like Caz.
I think [name]Pip[/name] works fine. [name]Bill[/name] is a nickname for [name]William[/name]. Things like that work.
