Cast a Musical: CAF with a Twist Inspired

Ok so I thought this would be a fun idea. So we will cast a musical together, in the style of the CAF with a Twist games. The first person will post a cast member’s name, age, bio, and photo, along with what character they’re playing. The next person does the same with another cast member.

First, let’s put the cast of The SpongeBob Musical!

[name_m]Willis[/name_m] “ [name_m]Bill[/name_m] “ [name_m]André[/name_m] [name_m]Karson[/name_m] (26) is playing SpongeBob SquarePants. He loves acting and went to many acting camps in childhood before considering it as a career path. He wishes he could have a Krabby [name_f]Patty[/name_f] in real life. He was a former vegan, something he’s been scorned for when he got back into eating meat. His grandfather was a butcher and rambles a lot against people who don’t eat meat. [name_m]Bill[/name_m] doesn’t quite agree with that, since he feels some connection with the community even if he’s not part of it. What bothers him more is the people who do eat meat who are uncomfortable with butchers. He finds them hypocrites and feels they’re only biting the hand that feeds them. He’s often avoided conflict by shaking off what others think and being happy.

Bill’s always had a happy childhood which has went away in his late teens and early adulthood. He went to a college he didn’t like for the sake of success. He’s glad to have graduated but he doesn’t let anyone control his career path. He enjoys that SpongeBob is so happy being a fry cook especially with such a cheap boss. While he’s not into toxic positivity, he wants more positivity and thinks a lot like SpongeBob. He feels happier this way and loves to sing, being great at it. It’s the part he’s most nervous about but he’s so happy to get the role, since it’s the only lead role he’s truly wanted.

[name_f]Marisa[/name_f] [name_f]Reese[/name_f] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m] (26) is Bill’s castmate who plays [name_m]Sandy[/name_m] Cheeks. She’s an adventurous and smart actress. She has a backup plan to go to nursing school if her career didn’t take off in stage acting. She has always been great at singing. Acting is a new skill. But she likes it because she can express herself. She is a Hunger Games fan. She’s also a SpongeBob SquarePants fan since early childhood. Her fave season is Seasons 2, 3, 5, and 10. She is not from [name_m]Texas[/name_m] though she’s got family there. She is the second-oldest and is closest in age with her eldest sibling. She loves rock music and memorized the entire “Goofy Goober Rock” song and original Twisted Sister’s “I Want to Rock” song. She loves musicals. She enjoys collecting and wearing jewelry. She is also pro-science and feminist. She stays true to this.

[name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] [name_m]Duncan[/name_m] [name_m]Houston[/name_m] (34) is [name_m]Bill[/name_m] and Marisa’s cast mate and will play Patchy the [name_f]Pirate[/name_f]. He loves pirates and he will have a mostly fake beard, though he likes real beards. He wishes his could grow longer. He’s also wanted longer hair but it grows slowly. He always loved singing and musicals but never really got to showcase it. [name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] grew up in a pretentious family who had a lot of gender roles and stereotypes. He likes having this role and showing musicals can be manly, but he auditioned because he genuinely loves SpongeBob SquarePants and that Patchy is underrated in his eyes.

[name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] has been in only one prior musical before, but granted, it’s a hit. [name_m]Kaleb[/name_m] is questioning his sexuality and recently broken up with his ex-boyfriend. He still thinks he loves men but hasn’t counted out loving other genders. He wants kids but is in no rush especially since he’s finding out himself first. Being raised in an environment where he couldn’t say “no” to his parents made him unfit for parenting at the moment, since he fears saying “no” to kids. He loves kid shows and loves how Patchy is such a fan of SpongeBob, since he’s basically an adult who’s a kid at heart, and relates to the adult viewers of the show.
