Cate or Catharine or Kara?

I like the names [name]Cate[/name] and [name]Kara[/name], but they cant go together because of their c/k sound.

I also like [name]Catharine[/name].

I’ve mentioned [name]Cate[/name] before, but I saw [name]Kara[/name] and liked it the same as [name]Cate[/name]. They both are pretty names that I really like. I saw the spelling [name]Cara[/name], and didn’t like it.

[name]Cate[/name], [name]Catharine[/name], or [name]Kara[/name]? And, do you like these combos?

[name]Cate[/name] [name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Catharine[/name] [name]Marie[/name]
[name]Kara[/name] [name]Ann[/name]

???
Thnx,
xoxoxoxo,
[name]Bella[/name]

Since all the C’s and K’s and similar sounds make it hard to use more than one of these names for a sibset, what about using [name]Catharine[/name] with the nn [name]Cate[/name]? [name]Cate[/name] is my favorite of the different nn options for [name]Catharine[/name], and that would allow you to use two of your 3 favorites.

I like [name]Cate[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] the best!

Good luck!

[name]Catharine[/name] is my favorite from your list - you could still nickname her [name]Cate[/name], or possibly even [name]Kara[/name] if you wanted. From your combos, I think that [name]Catharine[/name] [name]Marie[/name] is pretty, though [name]Marie[/name] is a bit predictable as a middle name, unless it’s a family name or has significance for you. [name]Catharine[/name] [name]Mary[/name] or [name]Catharine[/name] [name]Maria[/name] might also work… [name]Cate[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] has great flow, too (you may also like [name]Catharine[/name] [name]Ava[/name]). The only one I’m not sure about is [name]Kara[/name] [name]Ann[/name] - the A sounds at the end of [name]Kara[/name] and the beginning of [name]Ann[/name] run into each other…

Another Car- name is [name]Carys[/name]…

Good luck!

I am a [name]Caitlin[/name], and most people call me [name]Cait[/name], which I really really like so I am definitely thinking [name]Cate[/name] [name]Avalon[/name] for sure. I love the [name]Cate[/name] spelling (I also like the [name]Cait[/name] spelling, but if the name is [name]Cate[/name] alone, i like [name]Cate[/name]).

I think that [name]Kara[/name] is very dated, but I also like the [name]Cara[/name] spelling much better. [name]Catharine[/name] is nice, but I think [name]Cate[/name] really shines.
