I’ve been puttering around with a combo for [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] for a while now, and I think I might have a viable option (maybe?). [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] grandmother’s name was [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], so I like that it sounds almost identical while not actually being identical.
WDYT of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]? Is it a winner, or should I keep searching? Any other unexpected MNs that work with [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]? I’ve found that it’s hard to find something that doesn’t take away from the ethereal classic beauty of [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], while still providing a sense of je ne sais quoi. I think [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] might fit the bill, but over the years I’ve considered it, I never seem to be able to commit, so I’m not sure it’s the one. (I may just be incredibly picky about [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], even though I seem to like it everywhere…)
I’ve considered [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], as well, but I don’t think I like either of those as much as [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], even…
I really like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. The semi-subtle connection to [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is great, and I think it flows well overall, has a very cool feel to it, and fits right in with your other combos (especially [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]! I can totally see [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as sisters.)
I like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]! It is familiar, but with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] in the middle it is unexpected in a good way. I think that [name_f]Elora[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Honora[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] could all make nice middles but it wouldnt have the connection to your grandmother.
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is beautiful! love the twist on [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] too. definitely a winner, imo.
