I like both, but I would pick [name]Catherine[/name] over [name]Charlotte[/name]. I’m not crazy about the nns [name]Charlie[/name] or [name]Lottie[/name], that’s the only real reason I’ve got,

I like both too, but I have to go with [name]Charlotte[/name] for sentimental reasons (it’s my niece’s name).

I have a neice [name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Charlee[/name] and love it and her… but it is very common so I picked [name]Catherine[/name] for its regalness

I love them both but I would go for [name]Catherine[/name]. I have met so many young [name]Charlotte[/name]'s lately.

I voted for [name]Catherine[/name]. [name]Charlotte[/name] is a lovely name, but it falls flat with me and is starting to feel overexposed.

I picked [name]Charlotte[/name] because I prefer the potential nns “[name]Charlie[/name]” “[name]Lottie[/name]” and “[name]Char[/name]” to [name]Catherine[/name]'s “[name]Cathy[/name]”. [name]Both[/name] formal names are lovely though.

I like both, but I’d steer clear of [name]Charlotte[/name] because I think it has become an “it” name. Too popular for this moment for me.

[name]Catherine[/name]! I love this spelling, and it is my daughter’s middle name.

[name]Charlotte[/name] please!!! I personally dislike [name]Catherine[/name] spelled anyway.

ohlom - do you consider names like sophia, isabella, emma “it” names also? just trying to understand what you mean by an it name.

[name]Catherine[/name]. I just don’t like [name]Charlotte[/name]. It doesn’t interest me, I see it ALL the time, and I don’t really care for the sound either. It’s a perfectly respectable name, but it’s not my cup of tea.
I really prefer [name]Catherine[/name] (and love the spelling [name]Catharine[/name])

[name]Charlotte[/name]- it’s got a little more spunk.

Best wishes!

I really really hate [name]Charlotte[/name]. I don’t have a reason, I just really don’t like it. [name]Catherine[/name] is a lovely name. My great-grandmother was a [name]Catherine[/name] who went by [name]Kate[/name], but I like [name]Cate[/name] better.

I voted for [name]Catherine[/name]. I have a [name]Katharine[/name] and really was torn between that and [name]Catherine[/name]. I’ve never been a big fan of the [name]Char[/name] part of [name]Charlotte[/name] though one of my best friends just name her little girl [name]Charlotte[/name] so I suppose I’ll warm to it in time.

I love [name]Charlotte[/name]. I’m tired of [name]Catherine[/name] honestly, I know so many, it just seems boring.

[name]Charlotte[/name]! I love both, but [name]Charlotte[/name]'s a FN on my short list, I adore the nn [name]Lola[/name] and I just find [name]Charlotte[/name] to be so sweet and classic. But I love [name]Catherine[/name] because it honors my mom, and I love [name]Cate[/name], [name]Kitty[/name], [name]Erin[/name], and [name]Wren[/name] as nns. Still, [name]Charlotte[/name] has my heart.

I vote [name]Catherine[/name]. Like them booth, but I prefer [name]Cathy[/name] than [name]Charlie[/name]. or [name]Lottie[/name].

I vote [name]Catherine[/name]. Like them both, but I prefer [name]Cathy[/name] than [name]Charlie[/name]. or [name]Lottie[/name].

Definitely [name]Charlotte[/name].
