I like the sound of [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] better but don’t like the name with this spelling (unpopular opinion but I don’t like the [name_f]Cece[/name_f] part at all). However [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is even less my cup of tea, so I still go with [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] - but I like it spelled [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] myself. I like the -ee ending.
I used to think that [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]/[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] were very dated and wouldn’t work today, however, as with most of these ‘old-fashioned’ type names, I realised just how very versatile they are, and that most of them can indeed work on a modern day person. In fact, it’s rather refreshing in a sea of trendy and tryndi names.
I think both names are lovely…I do prefer [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f], but with the [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] spelling.
I have a [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], so that gets my vote. We get compliments on her name all of the time:)
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f], by far. Such a lovely, underused, unexpected classic.
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] is an ugly misspelling of the nice, but a little bland [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
I prefer the sound of [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] but spelled [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] as I dislike the [name_f]Cece[/name_f]- beginning so I went for [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], which isn’t too bad either!
