[name_f]Celia[/name_f]! The As You Like It character is amazing and I also like the simple sleekness of it compared to [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

One of my favorite NB sig combos is [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] (not sure whose it is atm.) I also had [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] on my list for a while.

I picked [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] because I absolutely adore the book/movie the Virgin Suicides. [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is a very close second though. For mns I really like how [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] looks.

I voted for [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], but I do prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], which I’ve got a soft spot for. :slight_smile:

My [name_f]Celia[/name_f] just turned 5 a couple of days ago! I love this name and it was my mother’s name.
My DD’s name is [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], all family names. [name_f]Ellen[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] are generic enough to work with any name, I think.:smiley:

I prefer [name_f]Celia[/name_f]. It rolls off the tongue better than [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] and it’s a soft, gentle name. =] I do really love the nn CiCi which is more intuitive for [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], but I still think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] sounds prettier. I am not a huge fan of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. It just sort of sounds old to me.

I second this! [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] but [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is pretty too.

I voted for [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f], but honestly it’s all personal connection for me. The first time I heard the name [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] was as a close friend’s middle name, so it reminds me of her. The name [name_f]Celia[/name_f] reminds me of the character on the show Weeds. And she was… less than ideal. [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] goes very old-lady for me.

I’ve always disliked [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
Of the [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]/[name_f]Celia[/name_f] vibe, my favourite is [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].
I do like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], and prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] even more.
