Cecilia James?

We are expecting our 3rd daughter in a couple weeks and the naming is much more difficult than the previous 2 daughter. What does everyone think about [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]? [name_u]James[/name_u] is the fathers first name. This will also be our last child.

Thanks

I really love [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]! [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] is such a great name: Elegant, evocative, and classic, but very underused. I like the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u] for girls, but only with ultrafeminine firsts, and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] definitely fits that criteria. Quick suggestion: Since [name_u]James[/name_u] is an honor name for her father, what about using a name that combines the sounds of both his name and yours?

[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] is beautiful. As @danakatherine said, the solidly feminine [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] pairs well with the more masculine [name_u]James[/name_u], and I love the connection to her father.

Moms name is [name_u]Jessie[/name_u]. We joke with people when we introduce ourselves as [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u].

Thank you for the imput

I love [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] but I’m gonna be honest with you, I just cannot get on board with [name_u]James[/name_u] as a girl name. It flows well with [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], yes, and it has meaning to you so if you love it, use it but they’re are other ways to use honour [name_u]James[/name_u] without using the name itself.
