[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]!!! To my ear, it has little more gravitas.
I definitely prefer [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. I don’t have any good reason other than that I simply prefer the sound of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] looks nice but doesn’t sound as nice in my ears

I prefer [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. It’s old fashioned, simple, girly w/out being too frilly and far less common than [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. I feel like (here in the midwest U.S.) I meet a little [name_f]Cece[/name_f] weekly.

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] for me. [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] is way too frilly for my liking. Some people like frill and that’s great. I do see [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] as a sister to [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] but for the most part, the names in your signature go best with [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both, but I think I like [name_f]Flora[/name_f] just a little more - love the short punchy feel of it while it’s also gentle and sweet

mythological
charmingly simple to pronounce & spell
international
has antique [name_m]Roman[/name_m] origin
but literary every other name is better choice than [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. Want a subtle or not so subtle nature name? [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] are better choice. Want a vintage name? No shortage of these names. There are tons of mythological names, & easy to pronounce & spell names. Tons of other international names. As for Old [name_m]Roman[/name_m] names? Lots of them.
Many names that feel better than [name_f]Flora[/name_f], also tick multiple boxes as [name_f]Flora[/name_f] does.
So my vote goes to romantic [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f].

This is a hard one. I love both names, and both have come on and off my own list over the years. I think I prefer [name_f]Flora[/name_f] right now, but you can’t go wrong. I have personally traded in [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] for [name_f]Celia[/name_f] recently.

I really like the suggestion above of [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] as well. It gets the energy of both names in there, and it is beautiful.

I like both but [name_f]Flora[/name_f] feels prettier to me. I’ve never like the nickname [name_f]Cece[/name_f] and to me [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] feels long enough to need a nickname for everyday use. [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is just the right length and I like the flowery imagery it brings to mind.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]! It’s such a beautiful name, love the lilting sound and the nickname potential.
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] I feel like is a character name, especially animated characters, but I find a hard time seeing it on a real person.

I prefer [name_f]Flora[/name_f]. I instantly thought of [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] which I think of as almost the midway point between these two names. Similar sound to [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] but very English sounding like [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
