Cerys or Ferelith?

Do you prefer Cerys or Ferelith? Are they similar or do you get different aura from the names?

I love them both equally they give off very similar vibes, in fact I think that [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] and [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] would make a lovely sister set together

I get a similar vibe from both names - sort of a woodsy fairy vibe, but still grounded and down-to-earth.

[name_f]Cerys[/name_f] feels warm, friendly, and sweet - still adventurous with a touch of whimsy and magic - but also more grounded, much more familiar.

[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] is mystical and magic, a name that truly stands out - it gives forest, fairytale, poetic vibes, but also strength and power.

I think I slightly prefer [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] for it’s power and distinctiveness and just the way it glows - and because I prefer [name_f]Carys[/name_f] to [name_f]Cerys[/name_f]

I really like both! I’m a sucker for a good -th ending, and [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] is very whimsical and magical sounding. But I also love the meaning and strength of [name_f]Cerys[/name_f]. I would probably go for [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] today!

I get the same vibes and associations from both names as @Greyblue. I like [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] a little better because I’ve known some great people called [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] and I really love [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] [name_m]Matthews[/name_m]

[name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] is my preference! I think [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] feels more grounded and forest-y, while [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] has a mystical sorceress vibe. They would make stunning sisters, though.

Today, my vote goes to [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] because in my point of view it feels more usable. However, both are wonderful.

I remember someone in here tweaked [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f] to Faralith to avoid the “feral” sound in the name which I might do myself if I were using it. Otherwise, [name_f]Cerys[/name_f]!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f]! So mystical but grounded. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Cerys[/name_f] because I want to pronounce it sair-iss, though [name_f]Carys[/name_f] is lovely. [name_f]Carys[/name_f] feels very soft and gentle in comparison to the fierceness of [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f].

For me, they aren’t names I would choose. Not that I don’t like them, they are just kind of different in a way that’s strange to me rather than just unique. I would be hesitant to pronounce them because I’m unfamiliar. But just because they aren’t my cup of tea does not mean they are lovely names! I just know with names I post about I want all perspectives- good, bad, and ugly.

Of the two, I prefer [name_f]Ferelith[/name_f]. Similar to that name, but more palatable in my opinion would be [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] or [name_f]Farrah[/name_f].
