Change Your Middle Name

If you had to change your middle name / give yourself a middle name (if you don’t have one), what would it be? Your first name won’t be changed, so keep it in mind while choosing your new mn :wink:

I think I would go with [name_u]Joan[/name_u], which is close to my honor name middle. I also want to keep my current initials because of what they spell.

Noel, [name_u]Sean[/name_u], or [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. I DID change my middle name, and they were my second, third, and fourth choices. Probably [name_u]Noel[/name_u] though as it has some significant meaning to me. I didn’t decide between [name_u]Noel[/name_u] or Séamus fully until I was at the courthouse filling out the paperwork.

[name_f]My[/name_f] opinion always changes and I do love my name but I think [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] would go well with my first name. Who knows maybe one day I’ll add a second middle :woman_shrugging:

I don’t have a middle name, but I’ve always wanted one! I probably will give myself one when I change my name when I get married.
Right now, I’d make my name [name_f]Vasilia[/name_f] [name_u]Ocean[/name_u]. I think weird word middles are so fun and beautiful, the ocean means a lot to me and I just love the sound.

I’m Russian, so my “middle name” is patronymic, it is Nikolayevna. Meaning “daughter of [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]”. I would love to match my husband and children, who have astronomical middle names, so maybe [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f]. I don’t know if [name_f]Aleksandra[/name_f] [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] sounds nice though.

I made a topic about patronymic names once! I’ve always thought they were really cool. Alesksandra [name_f]Andromeda[/name_f] does sound really pretty, though.

I’d probably add [name_f]Ann[/name_f] on, but I wouldn’t remove my current middle name. Both it and [name_f]Ann[/name_f] are honor names to me after specific people whom I hold dear and both died within a month of each other in the early-mid 1990s. This would give me a connection to both of them and not just one.

I love my name ([name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]) and although the middle is basic I think it flows wonderfully! If i absolutely had to change it, I think I would choose [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]!

I actually quite like my middle name (I’ve thought about using it as a first name for a daughter!), but when I was younger, I wanted my name to be [name_u]Haley[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], so [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is my answer :slight_smile:

I do really like my middle name for me, but my mother always considered naming me [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] or [name_f]Carla[/name_f]. I suppose one of those would be a middle :slight_smile:

I have two middle names, I like one of them but neither feels very me and I never use them. So if I had the option, I’d go with [name_f]Eulalia[/name_f] [name_f]Margo[/name_f] or Olalia [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
