Changed opinions?

Has anyone ever had their opinion changed about a name they hated when a family member/friend/celeb used it? Or vice versa? Has anyone had a favourite name “ruined” by meeting someone less than pleasant with that name? This is just for fun but please share your stories!!! Here’s mine:

Only a few days ago I was thinking about how [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] was one of my least favourite names of all time- I’ve never found it attractive in my life. Only yesterday I was scrolling through some popularity lists and saw [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and was wondering who’s still using such an out of date name… but lo and behold, this morning my childhood best friend announced the arrival of little [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! And now I’m besotted with the name [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] ” I can’t imagine anything better for a little princess!

So there’s my contribution, who’s next?

For me, it’s [name_u]Everett[/name_u] (on a girl) - I really like this on a boy so I didn’t like the thought of it on a girl, but then some youtubers I watch (Living [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]) named one of their twins this and it suits her so well that I’ve started to really like it. Another one is [name_u]Curtis[/name_u], which I thought sounded a bit old and stuffy, but I recently met a kid at work with this name and now think it sounds nice!

Also, I know this isn’t quite the same, but I didn’t really like the name [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] before it was used on one of my favourite characters. I’d heard of it from [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], but I thought it sounded clunky and like [name_f]Minerva[/name_f], but just a bit off. Now, having seen it on one of my all time favourite characters, I really like it
