I think I’ve been going about this the wrong way. I’ve been trying to create sibling sets when I really should just focus on one baby at a time. So here’s my new list of boy names to choose from once baby arrives. Charles being in there one way or another is the only thing that’s definite as it’s a major family name.
Siblings are Benton Grover, Arwen Elizabeth and Raven Azalea Ann. Undecided on whether to continue the N ending first names or not. Last name is like “mantis” minus the T.
- Charles Clyde NN Charlie
- Charles Dean NN Charlie
- Charleston Clyde NN Charlie
- Conrad Charleston
- Dean Charleston
- Emmett Charles
- Ender Charles
- Hugo Charles
- Jasper Charles
- Luther Charles
- Magnus Charles
- Malcolm Charleston
- Orion Charles
- Phoenix Charles
- Ronin Charles
- Thorin Charles
- Weston Charles
Which ones are your favorite? Which ones are your least favorite? Why?
I think I would keep the “n” because it goes better with the sibs unless this is potentially your last and you want the name to sort of “round off” the list. But that’s just me!
I went with [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Weston[/name_m] because they fit the vibe of the others. (I will admit, I love Orion). The sibs names have a vague fantasy/nature-y vibe (especially the last two) so those two go most with that vibe.
A few other suggestions that end with “n” that fit this vibe and also bi-syllabic to go with sibs:
[name_m]Faolan[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M___
[name_u]Raven[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_u]Ocean[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_m]Oren[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
a few others:
[name_u]Swann[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_m]Nairn[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_m]Linwood[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_u]Dune[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] M____
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!

@cms1512 this could potentially be our last baby just because my husband had a vasectomy reversal and that lowers our chances of conceiving even once more. We’d love to have up to 3 more though! [name_f]My[/name_f] youngest, [name_u]Raven[/name_u], is 7 so that’s why I’m not too concerned about the new baby fitting the theme. That and the theme was completely accidental through the first 2, then my sister convinced me I couldn’t leave the third one out, so I settled for the name [name_u]Raven[/name_u]. I really don’t want to settle again. I want to use something I truly love. That being said, I do really like [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_m]Weston[/name_m] which is why they’re up there on the list.
Thanks for the suggestions and your comments!
This was so tough to choose!!
I went with:
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] → sleek, stylish, cool and earthy at the same time. It’s got a modern yet classic vibe and is lovely!!
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m] [name_u]Charleston[/name_u] → snappy, cool and charming; it’s solid but full of flair.
Some runners up:
[name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] → vibrant, starry and bright, but grounded and familiar too
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] → relaxed, gentle and lovely, but with spark too
[name_u]Phoenix[/name_u] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] → magical, rugged and stylish, with brightness
Some that aren’t quite for me:
[name_u]Charles[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] → doesn’t sparkle for me I’m afraid
[name_m]Ronin[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u] → I find it a bit awkward to say

@Greyblue I know what you mean about [name_u]Charles[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] not sparkling. I feel like [name_u]Charles[/name_u] or [name_u]Charleston[/name_u] [name_u]Clyde[/name_u] is the obvious choice because it would honor so many men in our lives, but I feel they too lack a bit of sparkle. Maybe I should just put [name_u]Charles[/name_u] in the middle and save [name_u]Clyde[/name_u] for if we have another. Thanks!

[name_m]Magnus[/name_m] is too similar to your last name
