I’ve been set on [name]Henry[/name] [name]James[/name] ever since I found out it was a boy. Now, I am down to the wire and I am having 2nd thoughts and thinking [name]Asher[/name] [name]James[/name] (because it sounds a little less geeky- it has always been a (2nd place) favorite of mine). It sounds a little crazy, but genetics indicate he will be on the short side, and I want to make sure that he has a name that is strong and cool.
Sisters are [name]Lily[/name] [name]Mae[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name].
What do you think? [name]Henry[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]Asher[/name] [name]James[/name] and why?
Ooh both are such handsome names. [name]Asher[/name] sounds a bit “tougher” (although nn [name]Ash[/name] could be shared with the Ashleys in his class), but [name]Henry[/name] is just, so… handsome. I don’t think it gets much better than [name]Henry[/name].
You could always name him [name]Henry[/name] and call him [name]Hank[/name]. [name]Hank[/name] sounds “tougher” than [name]Asher[/name], in my opinion.
[name]Henry[/name] has so much more substance than [name]Asher[/name], [name]IMO[/name]. If my DS#1 were a girl his name would have been [name]Violet[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]!
Ohhh, so torn! [name]Asher[/name] AND [name]Henry[/name] are two of my favorite boys’ names and I think both go really well with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Violet[/name]. Perhaps take both with you to the hospital? If you want a name decided right now, though, my vote slightly goes to [name]Asher[/name]. While I love both, I do prefer [name]Asher[/name] on my own list, and the nn [name]Ash[/name] is so cool. I agree that [name]Asher[/name] is a bit cooler, but [name]Henry[/name] is just classic, not really boring or geeky to me.
I like both, but think [name]Asher[/name] works better with your daughters names, which are kind of quirky traditional. [name]Henry[/name] is great too, but seems a little more traditional-traditional, if that makes sense.
