Hi everyone! I’ve just turned 18 last month which means I’m able to start the process of changing my name. I have many ideas for my new name, and I’d like to get a second opinion on some of my combos! I’ve been going by Will for the past year, because I’ve been holding onto part of my birth name (Willow).
For a little backstory, I am a trans/nonbinary individual and I am a realism sculptor. Art is my whole life, and I want to choose a name that sounds nice when displayed on images of my artwork.
I’m pretty sure my first name will be Forrest, but I’m open to suggestions of similar names. My sister is named Cedar…so that may be too much haha. “Cedar and Forrest”. Although, that theme already existed when I was called Willow most of my life.
I LOVE the name Hemlock, but it has a bad reputation, what do you all think? Is it useable for a middle name?
Since your birth name was already the name of a type of tree, I don’t think [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] would be too much with [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] if it’s something you really like! I would stay away from Hemlock as a middle–the poisonous plant vibes are a little off-putting. I like your choices of Eleshire, Lockwell, and Everlight.
