I love the names of many old character actors’ (and when I say old, remember I was born in 1962, so I mean old)! In many cases, I like their last names as well as their firsts.
Lionel Barrymore, [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Whitman[/name_m], [name_m]Farley[/name_m] [name_m]Granger[/name_m], and [name_m]Errol[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] are very nice names.
Van Heflin reminds me of [name_u]Van[/name_u] Halen
I’ve always like [name_m]Balsam[/name_m] as a name, so it’s cool to see it as a last name. [name_m]Farley[/name_m] is also very sweet- it reminds me of a friendly boy wrestling with his brothers.
Love the name [name_m]Hal[/name_m]! I’m aware of a few of these actors such as [name_m]Brian[/name_m] Dennehy and [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Forsythe[/name_m].
My personal favourites:
[name_m]Torin[/name_m] [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]
[name_m]Kane[/name_m] Hodder
[name_u]Texas[/name_u] Battle ([name_f]My[/name_f] all time favourite actor name ever!)
[name_u]James[/name_u] Caan
[name_m]Orson[/name_m] Welles
[name_m]Osric[/name_m] Chau
[name_m]Keanu[/name_m] [name_m]Reeves[/name_m]
[name_m]Rip[/name_m] Torn
[name_m]Gunnar[/name_m] [name_m]Hansen[/name_m]
[name_u]River[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
[name_u]Thayer[/name_u] [name_m]David[/name_m]
[name_m]Ioan[/name_m] [name_m]Gruffudd[/name_m]
I love the name [name_u]Basil[/name_u], but I only like the [name_f]English[/name_f] pronunciation with the short a, not so much the American pronunciation [name_u]Bay[/name_u]-sil with the long a.
I love [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], [name_m]Farley[/name_m], [name_m]Clifton[/name_m] and [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]!
I think they are so handsome and fresh
Wouldn’t it be fun to hear those names called out at the playground? “[name_u]Sterling[/name_u]! [name_m]Farley[/name_m]! [name_m]Clifton[/name_m]! [name_u]Sydney[/name_u]! Come eat lunch!”
