I need a name for my MC. I recently started writing a(nother) story and none of the names I find seem to fit.
He is a prince, he is extremely gifted with a blade and is also very intelligent. His friends would describe him as impulsive, reckless, smart, kind, generous, loyal, and cunning. Some of the names I’ve thought of so far are:
[name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]- [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] to me just doesn’t sound right.
[name_m]Raphael[/name_m]- Idk
[name_u]Darren[/name_u]- There is a celebrity named [name_u]Darren[/name_u] [name_m]Prince[/name_m].
[name_m]Casper[/name_m]/[name_m]Cassian[/name_m]- It sounds a bit like [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] from the Chronicles of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f]
[name_u]Asa[/name_u]- Doesn’t sound like a prince.

[name_u]Constantine[/name_u] or [name_m]Percival[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathanael[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] (or stick with [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] - I like it)
[name_m]Warren[/name_m] instead of [name_u]Darren[/name_u]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Casper[/name_m] (I agree [name_m]Prince[/name_m] [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is too close)
Or [name_u]Auberon[/name_u], like [name_f]Elena[/name_f] suggested!
My favorite of yours is [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], but I would personally go ahead and use [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]! I love the book and the movie.
