[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys,
I apologise in advance because this is a long one:
So I used to write literally constantly when I was in school and never had any issues coming up with characters/names but now I haven’t really written anything apart from essays (Yay!.. not) for about 5 years and while I’ve had a sudden burst of inspiration for the very start of a story, my couple remains imageless and nameless.
So this couple have been together since they were rather young (mid teens) and have had a bit of an up and down relationship; nothing really awful between the two of them, just a lot of external life stuff that they’ve had to deal with. She probably would have gone down a bad path without his influence (drugs/alcohol/crime/etc.) and now she’s doing pretty well but he gets himself into a lot of trouble, he’s angry almost constantly, never towards her but he’s bitter towards the world and yet he hates that he is bitter and angry, so he kinda hates himself too.
My question is what do you picture these two to look like? What do you think are some fitting names?
This is the best paragraph I’ve found to give you an image of them:
There was a determined fury behind everything he did. It danced in his eyes as he spoke, guided his movements as he worked and filled the air when he entered a room. This was not a wild rage but a controlled, prolonged fervour which never truly died no matter what else he felt at the time; rather than dissipating, it intensified his passions and deepened his sorrows. She both loved and hated this about him, it undoubtedly made him unlike anyone else, and this ire within him meant that he needed her. His confidence and drive built her up and allowed her to be far greater than she ever would have been without his encouragement, but when times were bad it also made his anguish unbearable to watch. It tore him up inside and made him resentful to the rest of the world, to nearly everything but her.
