Character names

Hello, i used to post on btn writing board, so if the names are familiar it’s me.ok.

My characters names (should I keep them or should I change the names of my characters?)
It starts when [name]Riley[/name] is a baby and until his ending, on his 8oth birthday. and the adventures he has…
can’t decide if i want unusual names or normal names…
[name]Riley[/name] [name]David[/name] [name]Spencer[/name](Main Character)
Treznor(Real name [name]Timothy[/name] Morston)
[name]Adrea[/name] [name]Kenley[/name] -[name]Spencer[/name]
[name]Daisy[/name] [name]Robinson[/name]
[name]Silk[/name] ( I think I named Her [name]Selena[/name])
[name]Silver[/name] nn [name]Silvie[/name] Morston?
Azdar
Tzar? Or [name]Oscar[/name]?
Kolvin
Rozgar -[name]Roger[/name]?
[name]Izabella[/name], (Mazella)
Morgvar and his brother [name]Zion[/name] Alacer
Cynthena
[name]Alvaro[/name]
thanks, take care, [name]Mercy[/name]…

These names are intersting- when is [name]Riley[/name] born? [name]Riley[/name] suggests between 1990 and present day. Some of these are nice, and some of these are a bit too unique for my taste. Between Tzar (which looks like a mispelling of the word Tsar) and [name]Oscar[/name], I’d pick [name]Oscar[/name]. Kolvin looks like an odd variation of [name]Kevin[/name], and Rozgar make sme think of a villian from a cartoon in the 80’s. Is Azdar a man or a woman? A lot of these are very z/v heavy, which makes them harder to read.
I think it’d be best to lean more towards “normal” names since the unusual names are so unusual (people may be confused on how they’re pronounced or just confused overall.) They’re especially unusual when the main charater has such a normal name.
I hope that wasn’t too harsh. Good luck with your story.
