Character naming help

  1. Boy with long, ridged dark brown hair. He has dark yellow/amber eyes. He has a missing left leg replaced with an amputee. He is the man of a small family that consists of him, his single mother and his two sisters. His dad left when his youngest sister was a baby. During the Great Depression, he trains horses on a rich family for pay, and when the main jockey is injured, he steps in to take his place to help his family. He takes a young mustang colt, named [name]Freedom[/name]'s Limit, nicknamed [name]Freedom[/name], and trains him to enter him into horse races. The boy leaves his family to set out on a better future for them, hopping that [name]Freedom[/name] would free his family of their hard times. Only later on after the young, restless, undermined teenager learn that its the economy holding his family back, not their finances.
    He continues in the horse racing buisness until he has his own teenage son to take care of with special needs and leaves to spend time at home after his sick wife passes in her sleep, at which point he retires. (He meets the girl he marries at a horse race.)
    He’s stubborn, determined, strong willed, smart [name]Alick[/name], passionate, protective, loyal, and quick to judge.

Well, human beings don’t have yellow eyes, and amputees can’t train horses, and it’s kind of ripping off Seabiscuit, and children with creative writing assignmens shouldn’t have their parents doing the work, but…

My cousin is a rancher and an amputee, and my son is 5 in the first grade so back off please. I home school my kids so I will help them if they need it, not do their work for them. Thanks for the impute. People can have amber eyes but its very rare.
