Charlcia?

I just came across the name Charlcia for the first time. Quite the doozy on pronunciation. Does anyone know how to pronounce this? In my head, I’ve been saying “[name]Charl[/name]-cha”.
[name]Just[/name] out of curiosity.

According to White Pages, there are only 21 in the U.S.!

Thanks.

No clue but I know a girl named [name]Charlsie[/name] but she goes by [name]Charlie[/name] because no one can get her name straight and she doesnt like it.

I would have said [name]CHARL[/name]-see-uh mainly because of my Spanish training. The [name]CHARL[/name]-chuh would make sense if it’s semi-Polish, though–I know the Polish word for ‘grandma’ is “babcia” which is said like bab-chah, I think. I know next to nothing about Polish but I had to do a bit of research for a short story I wrote last year…

I’m thinking [name]Charl[/name]-see-uh as well…which I think is prettier than [name]Charl[/name]-cha…which sounds awkward.

I would say [name]Charl[/name]-see-uh as well…and for the record, my name is actually [name]Charlsie[/name], and I get [name]Charlize[/name] all the time (it’s so annoying), but I still love my name!

I would have said [name]Charl[/name]-sha. Probably because my moms name is [name]Kecia[/name], pronounced Kee-sha. I have no idea what the correct pronunciation would be though…

[name]Charle[/name]-SEE-ah?

I am still confused about this. Like I said my mom is [name]Kecia[/name], then there are the names [name]Felicia[/name], [name]Patricia[/name], [name]Marcia[/name], [name]Acacia[/name], so on that all in the “sha” sound. idk. It’s weird to me… I do pronounce [name]Lucia[/name] loo-see-a… but only because I like that better… Does it depend on the culture?

I think its shar-lee-sha
