Charles Theodore or Margaret Primrose

Hello. So I just found out I’m pregnant  Fingers crossed as I’m still so early (5 weeks 3 days) but starting to think about names.

[name]Baby[/name] will be due in [name]June[/name] 2013 and will be our second.

Our first is called “[name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]” and we call him [name]Henry[/name] (not [name]Hank[/name]).

For the second baby we are thinking of these as our boy and girl options:

[name]Charles[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] (nn : [name]Charlie[/name])
[name]Margaret[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] (nn : [name]Margo[/name])

What do folks think? Would these make a good sibset with our [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]? [name]Do[/name] folks like in general? Popularity?

Thank you!

[name]LOVE[/name] [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] btw. It was on my list for a future son.

[name]Charles[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] is lovely (though I would prefer [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Charles[/name]). [name]Margaret[/name] is nice, I’m just not feeling [name]Primrose[/name]. Too “Hunger Games” and trendy.

[name]Both[/name] [name]Charles[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] are perfect with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]! All are very classic names that are just coming back in style.

[name]Love[/name] both. My second daughter was going to be [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Rose[/name] for most of my pregnancy. I prefer [name]Rose[/name] over [name]Primrose[/name]. But both fit perfectly with your son. Good luck!

I think [name]Charles[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] are great “matches” with “[name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]”. [name]Primrose[/name] was a name long before Hunger Games came out so I don’t find it trendy at all. All of your names have a vintage charm so I’m a fan!

[name]Both[/name] are great, great names.

[name]Just[/name] wanted to say that I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Margo[/name] and [name]Charlie[/name] so perks to you and [name]Henry[/name]

You can totally call it quits now, those names are PERFECT.

I adore both of your combinations and they both go beautifully with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] (lovely name I might add)
but Honestly, I would call [name]Margaret[/name] by her full name, [name]Margaret[/name] because it’s so beautiful

Those are awesome names. Yes, both go well with your other child’s name.

I love both of them with [name]Henry[/name]!! [name]Just[/name] gorgeous and classic and wow.

I love both names, and they’re great matches with [name]Henry[/name] [name]Oliver[/name]. [name]Charles[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] and [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Primrose[/name] are classic, elegant, and timeless. You can’t go wrong.

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate the comments.

Our other boys name was [name]George[/name] [name]Theodore[/name] but I really like two syllable names for little ones ([name]Henry[/name], [name]Charlie[/name], [name]Margo[/name]). But if anyone has any input on [name]George[/name] versus [name]Charles[/name] ([name]Charlie[/name]) I would love to hear.

I was happy to hear comments on the [name]Margo[/name] versus [name]Margaret[/name]. Our original idea for the girl was [name]Margot[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] but we have been shying away from the “[name]Margot[/name]” due to the silent ‘t’ and just love the idea of sticking with a more “Whimsical British” theme for our babies.

Hugs and thanks!

Any of those names would go great with Henry. I ADORE Margo, much prefer it over Margaret. Margo Primrose is so dreamy! I also very much like Theodore. Charles seems a bit too stiff for me and a little overused. Henry & Margo or Henry and Theodore are my picks. Also I’d pick George over Charles any day. George is much less common among the new generation which also makes it more tantalizing. I feel Charlie, although cute, is overrated. I’d much prefer to meet a little boy named Georgie. I even know a 20-something George that goes by Geordy (JOR-dee).
