Charles with the nm "Chuck"?

[name]Charlie[/name] is really common for [name]Charles[/name] and I quite like [name]Chuck[/name]. I was wondering what other people think of this nickname.
Thanks

*Not pregnant, just looking for opinions.

I’m not a fan of [name]Chuck[/name] at all personally. :frowning: I’d rather call him [name]Charles[/name] than [name]Chuck[/name]. I love [name]Charlie[/name] though, there’s also [name]Harley[/name] if you wanted.

It’s very Gossip Girl to me as well.

I really like [name]Chuck[/name] too. It is a little older of a nickname but I like that about it… I kind of think of [name]Chuck[/name] and [name]Wally[/name] or something. Does that make sense? I also feel like all these new [name]Charlotte[/name]'s may go by [name]Charlie[/name], so for [name]Charles[/name] [name]Chuck[/name] might be a different option.

I [name]LOVE[/name], [name]ADORE[/name], SWOON over [name]Chuck[/name]!
(I actually like it for both [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] alla Pushing Daisies).

I also like [name]Chuck[/name] for [name]Charlie[/name], provided it does not end up being lengthened to [name]Chuckie[/name]. Also, I would not do it if the child has red hair. It would remind me too much of the horror movie and that little red haired kid on the cartoon Rugrats.

I work with a [name]Charles[/name] nn [name]Chuck[/name]. My preferred nn for [name]Charles[/name] is [name]Chas[/name] ([name]Chaz[/name]) though.

Seems dated, but I don’t hate it.

I have a little cousin named [name]Charles[/name] and they call him [name]Chaz[/name] which I quite like, feels modern!

I love the name [name]Chuck[/name]! I think it’s adorable!
