Charlotte and Carina

We are adding a new sister to our first dear daughter [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]! My wife liked the name [name_f]Carina[/name_f], I think it sounds not bad, but I don’t have any association to this name, it seems not to be so common? And so not quite sure how it feels, and how it goes with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]? It does start with same letter C as [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], implying they are sisters probably?

Btw I have a candidate name in mind, [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] sounds lovely, and I know they are nice sister names.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!

Both sound like they would work with Charlotte, but Emily and Charlotte work just a little bit better to me. If 2 C first names don’t work for you, I think Emily Carina will be a great full name.

I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] are lovely together. They both have different starting sounds off the tongue even if they are both C names.

[name_f]Emily[/name_f] does seem like a more natural sister name for [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]

What about [name_u]Carmen[/name_u]?

[name_f]Carina[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are nice together! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] feel cohesive too!!

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Leah[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]

It’s very close to [name_f]Carina[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Serena[/name_f] sound better together.

I like both [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] with sister [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Both compliment each other well. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] feel like they are meant to be, both classics that people are very familiar with. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] seem more unexpected, in a good way. [name_f]Carina[/name_f] is a hidden gem that isn’t used very often and it feels fresh with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].

[name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f] or [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Carina[/name_f] would be beautiful too.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] are gorgeous together!

I like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] together, my only thought is that if you have any more children, will they feel left out if they don’t have a C name as well. Or if you do give them a C name, that limits your options.

I also think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Carina[/name_f] could work, that way you both get the name you want, but a potential third child doesn’t get left out.

I also think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] together are perfect. They are both timeless , classic names and you can’t go wrong with them.

Good luck!

I love the suggestions of [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Carina[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Carina[/name_f] better and think [name_f]Carina[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f] would be lovely.

[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] do sound more natural as sister names, but I feel like they’re both fairly common. [name_f]Carina[/name_f] sounds more magical and interesting than [name_f]Emily[/name_f] imo, and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Carina[/name_f] do work  For a similar sound to [name_f]Carina[/name_f], both [name_f]Serena[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f] work great! [name_f]Carissa[/name_f] and [name_f]Crystal[/name_f] also remind me of [name_f]Carina[/name_f].
