Charlotte, Ellie or Noelle?

I love love love the name [name]Noelle[/name]…but our daughter is due in mid [name]October[/name]. Would it be strange to name her [name]Noelle[/name]? If so, do you like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]? Thanks for your help!!

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]. I love both names. [name]Noelle[/name] is a current favorite. I think some people might find it odd to have a daughter born in [name]October[/name] named after [name]Christmas[/name]… but I am a [name]Christmas[/name] freak. It’s my favorite family holiday and I am often singing [name]Christmas[/name] songs in [name]July[/name] (which even I find annoying) so I say if you love [name]Christmas[/name] or just the name go for it!!!

I think the name is sufficiently disconnected from the meaning that it would be fine. Who knows, maybe you’ll deliver at 48 weeks :).

From the title of the thread, I was going to say [name]Ellie[/name], but [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful! I wouldn’t immediately think [name]Christmas[/name], and as it is a middle name, it won’t get used that often.

I really like [name]Charlotte[/name] noelle or noelle [name]Charlotte[/name]. [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful and I think it seems fresher used in a month other than [name]December[/name].

I knew a [name]Noelle[/name] who was not born at [name]Christmas[/name] (and a [name]Holly[/name] in that category too) so I wouldn’t worry about that too much. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] or [name]Noelle[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] are both great names so you really can’t go wrong with them. I like the full name better than [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (i.e. [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Ellen[/name] [name]Grace[/name], etc.).

If you use [name]Noelle[/name], [name]Ellie[/name] could be her nickname. Then again, some people would use nicknames based off the middle name, though personally I wouldn’t. So you get it anyway. I prefer [name]Charlotte[/name] as a first name out of all of them. It’s classic and sweet.

Lovelovelove [name]Charlotte[/name]! I’ve heard some [name]Christmas[/name] babies really hate having a [name]Christmas[/name] name, but I think it’s cute. My sister (albeit, she’s an [name]October[/name] baby, not a [name]Christmas[/name] baby) loves that her name means “[name]Christ[/name]'s birthday” (she’s a [name]Natalie[/name]). [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is cute, but I like [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] best.

Good luck!

I have a [name]Noelle[/name] that was born in [name]October[/name]. I also have a [name]Holly[/name] born in [name]July[/name] and a [name]Stella[/name] in [name]August[/name]. We didn’t plan to have [name]Christmas[/name] names but one was a family name and other ones we liked. Go with what you like. I love [name]Charlotte[/name].

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]!! have never liked [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] is a nickname, so I would definitely go with [name]Noelle[/name]…

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful, but it your favourite name is [name]Noelle[/name] you should use it as a first name even if she isn’t born at christmas. I have friends named [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Natasha[/name] and [name]Noel[/name] and none were born around christmas (march, november and july).

I think [name]Noelle[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be really cute.

[name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful, and [name]October[/name] is close enough to [name]Christmas[/name]. I recommend going with the name you love.
