What does everyone think of the name [name]Chelsa[/name]? It pronounced Chel-suh. Does that sound like a knockoff of [name]Chelsea[/name]? I really like it, but I don’t want it to seem to crazy.

Its a variation of [name]Chelsea[/name], but I’ve never heard it before.
I’m neither here nor there with it.
It’s really cute, but I’d worry that people would keep pronouncing it as [name]Chelsea[/name] and that it would also get misspelled as [name]Chelsea[/name]. [name]Elsa[/name] could be an alternative, if you like that.
Soo, what do you think about the name [name]Chelsa[/name] [name]Rose[/name]?
So, it that a yes or no?
Come on people. . . I need opinions
It goes well with [name]Rose[/name], but I personally don’t like [name]Chelsa[/name] very much. [name]Chelsea[/name] is very pretty though, and I really like it. [name]Chelsea[/name] [name]Rose[/name] would be lovely.
Reminds me of [name]Charlie[/name] [name]Rose[/name].
Are you firm on [name]Chelsa[/name]? Or, do you have a list of other possibilities?
What about [name]Chiara[/name]? C name, ending in a, not common, pretty, and a name in its own right.
[name]Chiara[/name] [name]Alice[/name] is pretty…
It’s cute, but I’m not sold on it. And people will forever be saying “[name]Chelsea[/name].”
Another C name I love is [name]Clara[/name] - familiar but not too common.
[name]Clara[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]
To be honest when I saw this board I thought you were asking about [name]Chelsea[/name] but had just misspelled it. I don’t like either name, sorry. [name]Chelsea[/name] is very dated (and the name of a poodle my mother used to have) and that ruins [name]Chelsa[/name] too for me. Also people will forever mispronounce, misspell, and be confused by [name]Chelsa[/name].
I liked the suggestions of [name]Elsa[/name] and [name]Clara[/name], though…WDYT of those?
Thank you guys so much! I’ve really appreciated the help!
My sister is named [name]Chelsea[/name]. I call her [name]Chelsa[/name] for fun. I like it!
I prefer [name]Chelsea[/name].
Very interesting. This is my first time on this page and I searched my name and this thread popped up. Not only is my name [name]Chelsa[/name], it is indeed [name]Chelsa[/name] [name]Rose[/name]!!! LOL Let me say that I absolutely [name]LOVE[/name] my name and I have a very Irish surname and I think it has a nice flow to it. Now, I personally have a dislike for the name [name]Chelsea[/name] but only because (everyone on here is right) people 98% of the time think my name is [name]Chelsea[/name] when they first meet me. I’ve even had a guy try to correct me when I introduced myself by saying, “[name]Don[/name]'t you mean [name]ChelsEA[/name]??” lol ummm, no, I know my name…it’s [name]ChelsA[/name] But, you get over it and once they are corrected most people think it’s a beautiful and unique variation of [name]Chelsea[/name] even if it is just taking out one letter. [name]Long[/name] story short, I love my name, and besides having to correct people or reassure them, “yes, yes I said [name]Chelsa[/name]. Yes, very similar to [name]Chelsea[/name]. No, not Kelsa…” I do love having it. Oh, and it will be forever impossible to find one of those souvenier liscence plate key chains or a coffee mug with the name [name]Chelsa[/name] on it Good luck deciding, I think the world could use a few more Chelsas, if you ask me
To me it looks like it’s just missing a letter. I’m not a fan of [name]Chelsa[/name] or [name]Chelsea[/name].
Me too- I think everyone will read [name]Chelsea[/name]. Not that it’s a bad name, just could be a pain in the butt. [name]Imagine[/name] a 6 year old [name]Mariska[/name] Hargitay yelling " it’s not [name]Marissa[/name]!"
It’s a no for both [name]Chelsa[/name] and [name]Chelsea[/name]. [name]Chelsa[/name] just sounds unfinished and [name]Chelsea[/name] is really dated.
