We used spice names for some of our chickens. We have Nutmeg, [name_f]Ginger[/name_f], Paprika, [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_u]Pepper[/name_u]. Our others are named [name_u]Gary[/name_u] and [name_u]Sam[/name_u] (both hens named by my little sisters).
We’re soon to have chickens, too! The girls will be: [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f], [name_f]Maud[/name_f] and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] and the boys will be: [name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_m]Richard[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
We used to have chickens (most of which met cruel deaths; we made a song for the nephews, “the Bobcat chased the Chicken” to the tune of “The Monkey chased the Weasel”) These were their names:
