Some friends are expecting [name_u]Baby[/name_u] #3, and just found out they might be able to adopt their foster daughter (age 3). Bio kids’ names are [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. I can’t post the foster kid’s name for privacy reasons, but it is a previously popular boy’s name that is now occasionally used for girls (think [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] or [name_u]Cody[/name_u]). It’d be a major plus to find a baby name that bridged the gap in naming styles-- they were thinking something tailored but feminine. The dilemma also lies in the fact that they like longer names (I suggested [name_f]Claire[/name_f] but that was shot down). Their original choices were [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], and may still go with either of those or something similar, they’re just exploring options that might sort of tie everyone together. There’s a chance the adoption may fall through, so it needs to fit with just [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], but also work as [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]Cody[/name_u]/[name_u]Ryan[/name_u], and (Child #4). If you’ve got any suggestions, I will pass them on. Again, it’s not the biggest problem in the world, but they’d prefer not to have such an obvious disconnect between bio kids/ adopted kids names. Thanks
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_u]Cody[/name_u]/[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] and
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and emmaline are both fabulous
Something with a more boyish or shorter nn
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] nn [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] nn [name_u]Alex[/name_u]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] nn [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] nn arrow or [name_f]Callie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] goes really well with [name_f]Adeliade[/name_f]. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is awesome too. But I didn’t like Dilemma that much.
I’m not sure if this is a joke as it can be hard to tell over the internet, but don’t worry, they aren’t naming her dilemma, they are having a dilemma.
I really like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f].
[name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Kalista[/name_f]
[name_f]Melanie[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
I think [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is perfect.
