Chloë Augusta?

So this name popped into my head a couple weeks ago, and it’s been stuck there ever since. I like that the fn is fairly modern and fresh, but that there’s a more substantial mn there to balance it off - I’ve always quite liked [name]Augusta[/name], but thought it was a little too old-lady for an fn.

So. Thoughts?

I really like it! I see what you mean about the two names balancing each other nicely. Would you use the umlaut on official documents? That seems a little troublesome. But I like the look of it.

I think [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Augusta[/name] sounds lovely. [name]Chloe[/name] may sound fresh and contemporary but it’s actually another name for the Greek goddess [name]Demeter[/name] and appeared in the Bible as well. The sweetness of [name]Chloe[/name] is balanced by the stronger sounding [name]Augusta[/name] quite nicely and the pairing of these two names is unexpected but work beautifully together.

Also totally agree with mischa - people discredit [name]Chloe[/name] too quickly because it’s recently popular, but trendy doesn’t describe it - it’s got great history.

I think [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Augusta[/name] is just beautiful, and she has just the right amount of spunkiness!

I like it too!

I’ve never been a big fan of [name]Chloe[/name], but [name]Augusta[/name] does balance it well and adds a touch of class. I like the combo.

[name]Lovely[/name] Combo - I would never have thought of it but it’s awesome.

[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Augusta[/name], beautiful! I love it.

[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Augusta[/name] was actually on my list a few years back, I think it’s a beautiful combo! A great balance, [name]IMO[/name].

Chloë [name]Augusta[/name] is very pretty. Chloë usually isn’t my style, but I really like it paired with musty [name]Augusta[/name]. I also like [name]Cloe[/name] with the umlatz.

  • [name]Athena[/name]

Drop the umlaut and it’s fine.

[name]Chloe[/name] (without umlaut, which is kind of unnecessary nowadays) [name]Augusta[/name] is a lovely combination!
