So we plan on revealing the sex and name of our baby at our baby shower (sex is still unknown to me) the problem is we STILL haven’t agreed on the girl name and we are running out of time! Out of our very [name]LONG[/name] list of names we have narrowed it down to 2…[name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Layla[/name]…
Thoughts on these two names and suggestions on middle names for both PLEASE!!!
I used to really love the name [name]Layla[/name]. I would still use it if it weren’t so popular. Plus I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Eric[/name] Clapton. Not too keen on [name]Chloe[/name].
[name]Layla[/name] [name]June[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Esme[/name]
[name]Layla[/name] Rienne ([name]Ree[/name]-en)
[name]Layla[/name] [name]Wren[/name]
I always think diamond in the rough names from your family tree are best for middle names. Or perhaps grandmother names that ring with ‘[name]Layla[/name]’.
[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Verena[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Amalie[/name]
I was thinking [name]Chloe[/name] was more popular…that’s why I had reservations about it.
I am sure it is! I am just more of an obscure-namer. [name]Layla[/name] is beautiful though. I just am not in love with [name]Chloe[/name] because I…know someone named [name]Chloe[/name], and she has ruined the name for me. lol! Good luck and congratulations.
Haha thank you I’ve always liked [name]Chloe[/name] but now that we are pregnant it just seems like the name is popping up everywhere! I just don’t want her to be in school and te teach day her name and 5 other girls look up…
the teacher say
[name]Love[/name] [name]Layla[/name]. Beautiful and feminine.
[name]LAYLA[/name]!! [name]Love[/name] it!
I think both names are lovely, I can see why you are having trouble!
To me, [name]Chloe[/name] is a little more sweet and spunky…a perfect little girls name that also wears well on adult. [name]Layla[/name] is soft and beautiful…also a sweet name but a little more quiet and mature to me than [name]Chloe[/name] is.
I do hear [name]Chloe[/name] fairly often, but it is not über popular or anything. I hear less of [name]Layla[/name], but she kind of blends in with the sea of [name]Lila[/name]'s, [name]Lola[/name]'s, etc, which makes [name]Layla[/name] seem more popular than it really is.
For what it’s worth, I [name]LOVE[/name] the spelling “[name]Leila[/name]”…it feels classier and less trendy to me for some reason.
Good luck, let us know what you decide!
Any suggestions on middle names for [name]Layla[/name]? I’m pretty fond of [name]Layla[/name] [name]Faith[/name] just because I love the name [name]Faith[/name] lol or middle names for [name]Chloe[/name] besides [name]Elizabeth[/name]…seems like that’s the choice middle name for “[name]Chloe[/name]”
[name]Chloe[/name] - common. Sounds like Chlorine. But still wildly popular - [name]Layla[/name] - beautiful, different, pretty and underused.
You are probably too young to know the song “[name]Layla[/name]” - a beautiful and passionate love song. Listen on Youtube.
[name]Layla[/name] is exquisite!
What about [name]Layla[/name] [name]Chloe[/name] or [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Layla[/name]? I think these are both lovely. I do slightly prefer [name]Layla[/name] because it’s a little less common and I like the [name]Leila[/name] spelling best.
I would choose [name]Chloe[/name]. [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Layla[/name] & [name]Layla[/name] [name]Chloe[/name] are pretty sets… [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Jane[/name]/[name]Jade[/name]/[name]June[/name]/[name]Elaine[/name], [name]Layla[/name] [name]Hope[/name]/[name]Charity[/name]/[name]Rose[/name]…
I did not know anyone had posted before me with [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Layla[/name]/[name]Layla[/name] [name]Chloe[/name]. I did not repeat the names on purpose
